Supply Pay is streamlining the global supply chain.
Launched in January 2024, our lending product achieved product-market fit by solving one of the most pressing challenges in cross-border trade: long cash flow conversion cycles. Our initial focus has been on the agricultural trade corridor between the U.S. and Mexico, where we help importers and exporters access fast, reliable capital.
Through the process of building, launching, and scaling our lending platform, we uncovered deeper inefficiencies—fragmented communication and operational complexity that slow down the movement of goods. These insights led to the creation of our collaborative workspace environment for the U.S <> MX cross-border supply chain, launched in February 2025, which has already seen great adoption among early users.
Our collaborate workspace environment is designed to automate and streamline the workflows of key cross-border trade stakeholders, including exporters, importers, customs brokers, carriers, and federal agencies. Our initial focus remains on the U.S.–Mexico trade corridor, where we are building the foundation for a fully connected, AI-powered supply chain.
Our goal is to improve perishable supply chain visibility, reduce disruptions and automate routine tasks while providing liquidity for over 1,000,000 transactions per month by 2030.
As the an Applied AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the intelligence layer of Supply Pay and Supply Link, building AI-driven systems that transform lending, risk assessment, and supply chain automation.
This role blends cutting-edge AI research with real-world impact, requiring expertise in natural language processing (NLP), predictive financial modeling, and agentic underwriting. You will develop and deploy LLM-powered automation that enhances financial decision-making, optimizes risk models, and eliminates inefficiencies in cross-border trade.
As part of this role, you will also leverage our deep relationships with foundation model providers—beta-testing models, experimenting with new features, and developing insights into the strengths and weaknesses of emerging AI techniques. You will own the development of proof-of-concept (POC) systems that directly influence lending decisions, trade finance automation, and supply chain intelligence.
